Welcome to the new IVNA web site

The IVNA is the only association in Ireland dedicated to representing Irish veterinary nurses.

It is run by a voluntary committee and is committed to promoting the veterinary nursing profession.

The aims of the IVNA include:

• Representation and promotion of the profession

• Provision of continuing education events for student and qualified veterinary nurses

• To liaise with national e.g. Veterinary Council of Ireland and international veterinary bodies e.g. VETTNET, IVNTA

This site has been designed to provide veterinary nurses and support staff with up-to-date information about many aspects of the profession including Continuing Professional Development, Legislative changes and other relevent news items.
